
Joseph Louis Jacome, 48, affectionately known as “Louis” to his family and friends, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007.
He was born April 22, 1959, in Quito, Ecuador, and grew up in Lowell, Mass.
He was a Ventura County resident since 1993.
Louis was very creative and athletic. He loved to play soccer and practice martial arts.
He was an avid superhero fan and created his own superhero characters.
Louis was Pentecostal and had a very strong faith in God. He valued his family very much and kept close with all of his relatives.
He was very much loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Louis is survived by his mother, Betty Tessier; stepfather, Robert Tessier; brothers, George Jacome and Byron Jacomo; sisters, Jane Koster and Michelle Tessier; and father, Jose Luis Jacome.
A chapel service is planned at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Camino del Sol Funeral Home, 200 North C St., Oxnard, with burial to follow at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, Camarillo.
